No matter how long it has been since we’ve spoke, just knowing he is gone is overwhelming for me. Kent was one of my dearest friends and I loved the guy. I meet Kent at Carroll College in 1977 and had a unique bond with him since. He will be missed.

I was a part of the "Mav fam" for only a few short months, at Power 95. Coming to work has been hard this week, but we keep "rollin" on. Hope you and Arch are catching up. RIP Mav!

Mav was always there to take care of Reynolds Market. He supported every event we had and could always count on him visiting us daily and sharing with all how much he loved Reynolds! Your commitment to all of us showed. RIP our friend

Mav, we first met at a Memorial Day Program in the park....you and your little four legged baby girl. We talked about how neat the Cavalier King George Spaniels are. You and I became bonded over our Veterans and their needs. You were always there to talk to and guide me. You became a dear friend. I will miss you more than any amount of words could ever express. R.I.P. my friend...you've earned it. Thank you for your service.

I met Mav in 2011 when I went to Montana. I lived 2 doors down from the Radio station. he was working late one night and I had made a big pot of Chilli so I took some over to the station for him and his co worker. we were friends before that but he became my Brother after that. I am so glad that I got to meet and get to know him and be part of the Mav Family!!! God Speed My Brother May you rest in paradise. I will always love you!!

Winston Churchill said " We are measured in life by what we give, not by what we get." Kent was rich by the measure of people he influenced and made happy. Kent was a year ahead of me at Glasgow High School. He loved his dad, Ray, deeply. Ray told him "Laddy, you are destined for great things." And great things he did. Rest in peace, dear Kent. Gone too soon.

Hearing people talk about you just confirms you’re the kind of person I knew you to be if we had met in person. I’m going to miss working with and talking to you, Maverick, and really miss that cup of coffee we never had together. God's peace and blessing to you and all the Mav Fam.

Rest in Peace Brother. I never knew Kent as 'the Mav" but I did know him as Simone Simone at Carroll as I roomed with him for a year in the dorms and a year at the famous "Haunted House". I am glad to see that he has touched so many lives. I have soooo many great memories of our escapades together, but the last time I saw him he was in Sioux Falls years ago.

Many great memories of working with Kent (aka Sudo, aka Maverick) when our paths crossed during our VA careers. His presence was always exuberant and will be missed. Will always remember you, Bro.

I was very sorry to hear of the passing of my good friend Kent. I met him during my career in the VA. We became good friends and whenever we got together it turned into memorable times. Lots of drinking, laughing and just plain fun. I looked up to Kent as a leader in the VA and wasn’t surprised to read of his accomplishments in Radio. God bless you my friend.
