My sincerest condolences to your family! Gil worked with my mom (Laurie) for a number of years. I always enjoyed stopping in to see her and visit with Gil and again more recently when we would see him at sporting events. He was such a kind and gentle man. I will miss seeing him. Prayers to your entire family!

Dear Haugen family...

We appreciate our family friendship...which started when we moved to Williston in 1964. Gil and Donna were great friends to us. We had many good times through church activities and watching the kids go through school. We enjoyed living on 4th Ave West with the Haugens. We send our Love and friendship from Fargo.

I found this picture while looking at old photos. It made me think of our family gatherings and how much fun we had together. Thanks Uncle Gil for your easygoing nature, kind and caring spirit, and ever-present sense of humor. You will be missed!

Gil and my husband worked together as linemen at MDU. He was a great man who was loved and respected by all who worked with and for him. He, Donna and family were great friends to our family with the lmany good times at our cabins at Blacktail, MDU parties, picnics and St. Joseph's school activities. Blessings on the family

Terry and the Family of Gil and Donna Haugen,

Your Father, and Mother, were absolute legends in their dedication to their attendance at Williston Athletic events, especially ones involving their kids. I don’t think I ever recall being at a game where they were not in attendance.

Growing up in the neighborhood, your Dad’s and Mom’s smiles were ever present. They were both some of the nicest people I have ever met. And they raised terrific kids.

Now, they will forever watch over you for the rest of your lives.

God Bless…

Kevin
