To the Family,
I would like to express how sorry to hear of your loss. It seems so unfair that death should have the power to take away someone you love. And when it happens, the thought of never again being able to talk to, laugh with, or hold your loved one can be most difficult to bear. That pain is not necessarily erased by being told that your loved one is up in heaven.
I found what God promises in the Bible helpful. At Acts 24:15 it says “And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead.”
This promise has consoled me when my father died. Hopefully, it can provide some hope and comfort to your family.

Our condolences to the Davis family. I have many memories of Tony from teaching with him, working cattle, and playing softball with him. He was always very good and kind to our family. That is the good thing about memories; you will always have them. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.

So sorry to hear of Mr. Davis’ passing. As well as having him for a teacher in high school, he coached our women’s softball team on the city league. I can still hear him hollering at us “ducks on the pond”. He was a great coach.

A great man, my science teacher. Mr. Davis always had time for others and I can still remember his voice, so powerful and provocative. Not sure but I think Tony gave the speech at our 1973 graduation commencement.
He will be missed.

Blessings to the Davis family. "Mr. Davis"...as he was known to most of us @ THS, was one of those teachers that influenced many of us. I will always remember him standing outside his door sternly, but with good humor directing traffic, and his wise counsel in class. As football coach, baseball coach, Sunday school teacher, and the manager at the Tioga swimming pool he made a big impression on many of us. The class of 1973, thought so much of him, that we asked Mr. Davis to share his thoughts at our graduation. He was one of those teachers who left a lasting impression on many lives. A life well lived. Best wishes to all of the Davis family----Mr. Davis was loved by many.
