Noma Rian died peacefully on April 1, 2019 in Fargo, ND at the age of 89.

Noma was born on Feb 19, 1930 in Lunds Valley, ND to John and Esther Rian. She graduated from Stanley High School in 1947 and attended Minot State Teachers College for business training. She spent most of her life in Stanley where she worked as the deputy county auditor and became the business manager for Stanley Community Schools. One of the accomplishments for which she was most proud was successfully implementing a computerized financial system for the school district.

Noma is survived by her sister, Adeline Mueller of Fargo, North Dakota; a niece, Jolene Richardson of Fargo, North Dakota and a nephew, Elmer Mueller of Jackson, Michigan. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Esther Rian.

To the Family,
I am deeply sorry to hear of your loss. Losing my parent has been difficult for me.
However, I found this scripture helpful. It is what Jesus said at John5:28,29: “28Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,29And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life;”
Hopefully thinking about what these verses state can help your family during this time as it has for me.
