Margaret was a very special Aunt.. A sweet and gentle person. I remember she always brought a special dessert for the holiday gatherings..one I remember specifically was a ‘flaming baked Alaska’ I will miss her.. she also made me a crocheted pink dress when I was 6 years old.. I wore it once for a family reunion. Margaret then was going to shorten it as she said it was too long.. I never saw it again.. so in 2009, I was at Margaret’s and I asked her if she remembered that dress... She got up from her chair, went to her bedroom and brought out a bag.. and said, ‘Is this it? Much to my astonishment..it was the dress! I just recently had my Grand daughter put it on.. it fit!! What a treasure! Thank-you, Margaret!! That dress is over 60 years

I am sorry to have lost touch with Margaret since my husband Kendel passed away in 2011. Ken was very fond of his sister and talked to her often.

It has been a very long time since I saw Great Aunt Margaret. She reminded me so much of Grandma Evelyn. I love hearing all the stories our dad (Bruce) shares with us. Heaven gained a treasured angel.
