Earl was a talented great human to call “friend”. Williston will miss him. He quietly gave so much.

My deepest sympathies Ted, I am so sorry to hear this. Earl was one in a million always so kind and helpful. His laugh is one of my favorites! So glad we were able to visit you both when we were in Williston— I will treasure that visit even more. My prayers are with you.

I was privileged to be in a cast with Earl several times and forever grateful he filled in for Tom in Man of La Mancha during competition. He was the director of our Melodrama in the park. I, C'Dale, got to play an old man! Ted, I think you were the other old man :-) And we were young then! Hahaha! Earl and I were busy interior decorators in the 80's & 90's. We were never in competition, instead he was always supportive to me and my business, helping out whenever I needed him. How awesome! Williston is better for all the community involvement from Earl. It will last a long time! With our sincere sympathy, C'Dale & Phil

Words cannot express the sadness I feel. Earl had a profound affect on my life. My best friends are friends Earl and I made together from our Ray and Williston, ND days. Earl always had a plan for an adventure. He had grand ideas for a prairie dinner...a formal dinner table with linens and candelabras set on the North Dakota prairie fields with gourmet food offerings. He was a master at his craft and created so many of the great homes and businesses of Williston. We lost contact for many years but reconnected about 10 years ago. Thank you Earl for being such a big part of my life and thank you for being you...a dreamer an achiever and just a really wonderful caring and giving person. I will miss you tremendously.
