Thoughts and prayers for all of you! It’s hard to see this generation pass and especially when he was such a leader in the community!

Prayers to the family for your loss. I remember getting to know and working with Paul as a student representative during the founding of Dollars for Scholars.

Paul Johnson will be missed in many ways, especially by his family, and the community of Sidney will find it hard to replace his dedicated civic contributions, too. My thoughts of support to family and close friends as you all look forward without his presence here while knowing his legacy will live on benefiting those of the future.

I was very fortunate to have known Paul ever since high school, particularly, with the Sidney Eagles football team. Paul, I think played as a Guard; rather small for that position, but he was a regular for more than one season.
Paul was also almost my twin; he was born just a couple weeks before I was. I didn't get to see Paul enough after I moved away from Sidney, but whenever I visited the home town, I would make a visit to the Johnson Hardware, just to see Paul. One such visit, he hosted me on the golf course, which was great fun.
Paul was great man, an inspiration to so many of us, although few of us will match his accomplishments.
REST IN PEACE, MY FRIEND.

Oh the memories I have of Paul Johnson and going to church on Sunday at Lonsdale. May he forever rest in peace with his beautiful wife. Keeping all of his family in my thoughts and prayers.

Paul was so helpful as I started my new business in Sidney many years ago. He personally helped me chose the desk, chair and desk lamp I bought at Johnson's with my very first profits. I don't know who was prouder that day; Paul or I but it is a day that I will never forget. He will always be remembered and cherished!

Paul, Hubert, and Clint taught me so much about the retail business (1972). I used that knowledge throughout my entire business. I could not have had better Professors as instructors. Operated my own business for 30 years based on what they taught me. I am now retired and feel indebted to them for their tireless direction they provided me. Thank you Paul, Hubert and Clint.
