I have so many wonderful memories of Uncle Elmer.. he and his brothers loved to tease their nieces! Our family was close-knit and enjoyed Christmas, New Years Day, Easter, July 4th, and Thanksgiving together - I miss those days. My sister and I were the lucky recipients of one of the Siamese kittens mentioned in the article! Good job, good and faithful servant - now you can rest.

We have so many special memories of Uncle Elmer. We were fortunate to be part of a family that loved the Lord and one another. Every holiday, birthday, etc was a celebration and we all gathered to spend the day together. Our boys loved spending time with Elmer and especially looked forward to his Saturday visits. Sometimes it would be topped off with a visit to Napa Auto to sample the free pizza. I am sure his family is gathered to welcome him to his eternal home and my dad, along with Oscar, Billy and Harley are pulling up another chair for Elmer to join them for cards.

I am going to miss Elmer and his big greeting “Hello Margie and Melanie” when we visited with him in the Wellington these last years.

We will always have fond memories of Uncle Elmer and his weekly visits with Uncle Bill to see Mom and Dad at the farm. They were the best of times...lots of fun and laughter! We will never forget Elmer's love of sharing jokes and stories long before he began collecting them while residing at The Wellington We will miss his gentle smile and unique personality. Rest In Peace, Elmer.
We love you!

I hadn't seen Uncle Elmer in nearly 50 years but always remember him as being a kind and gentle man. We exchanged Christmas cards nearly every year and he always wrote something about his garden that year and what he had recently done with the family...always something I looked forward to reading. RIP
