I grew up with Robert and James Petersen both. They were cousins and good friends to have. Jim lived kiddy-corner from me growing up and Robert live one block to the west. Robert was always one of my favorite people to know and I'm very saddened to hear of his passing. Richie, I'm so sorry for your loss and Patty my heart breaks for you. Know that he's at peace and with the Lord. God Bless you all!!! In Christ, Sandi

Robert was my brother, Denny’s best high school friend. They had so much fun together and pulled more than a few shenanigans over the years! What a great sense of humor Robert had, usually laughing and looking for the next adventure. He was in the fatal car accident which took the life of my brother and his own cousin, Jimmy. He always visited my parents whenever he came back to Sidney, so very kind. I know he’ll be missed by many.

My friend, you always made me laugh at your bad jokes. I will remember the good times, the trips, and the meals we shared. Say hi to Brick Davely and save a place for me in the choir. I miss you my friend.

Lynda and Family: I am so saddened to hear of Robert's passing. There are no words to mend the irreparable hole of emptiness you are all feeling in your hearts. Robert's obituary tells a story of a caring father who enjoyed action, fun, success and one who loved his family and friends. A life so full is a life well lived!
I was a classmate of Robert's - from the first grade until we graduated in 63. We shared many memorable moments in those years, in our classrooms, at dances, and of course in band. We both played the trumpet. I hold many fond memories of him. They are all filled with fun and laughter! He will be missed by all who knew him! With you in spirit and sending your family healing thoughts!

My condolences to Lynda, Brandon, Rob, Misty, Kristen and all of Pete’s extended family. I echo all the things said herein about Pete (except maybe his golf prowess - ??). What I will remember most though was his kindness to my mother and my sister. He loved my Mom and truly held her in his heart. He embraced all of us on this side of the family. I’ll miss you Pete. God speed.

Bob and I were fraternity brothers, 'behind the red door' aka, Sig Eps. Oh, the stories and the memories i have of my college life with Bob. While back in Missoula for our 50th Homecoming, I tried, unsuccessfully, to locate Bob and failing to do so, returned, disappointed, to Seattle because Bob was one of the few fraternity brothers whom I so wanted to see. To Bob's family, I'm so sorry for your loss and ask the Lord to keep you foremost in His mind during these most sadden days of your lives.

Most of you won’t know me although Bill Kyle May remember. I also became good friends with Bob at the Sig Ep fraternity in the mid 60’s. We bowled some, were both in business school and socialized a lot. Wherever Bob was, fun was happening. I settled in Miles City and we had occasional contact over the years. My parents were clients of his. I am richer for knowing Bob. Thanks for the memories. Best wishes to all family.

Sorry to hear about the death of a good friend, but as Christians we know that he is safe and secure with Christ. Lived across the street from him and was almost a daily playmate. His sister was born in the same hospital on the same day as was my sister.
