I stood up for your mom and dad when they were married and I remember how happy they were when the family came..4 in 4 years! We didn't have contact for many years but you were never forgotten. Give your mom a hug from me. Thoughts and prayers for the whole Wheeler family.

To the entire Wheeler/Haugen family - my heart goes out to you this day. So very sad to lose a precious loved one. I can picture Nona there at Heavens Gates with outstretched arms and a beautiful smile on her face. Rest in Peace Bruce. Family, may God Comfort each one of you and give you His Peace.

To the Wheeler kids: I am saddened to heard of Bruce's passing. He was too young. My heart breaks. Bruce certainly was a brilliant guy. I had to laugh upon reading how you boys tricked your Mom with the TV setup. Only boys! My Dad, Jim Kennedy, and I were reminiscing about your Mom, and those old days, when we were almost a family. Good memories. My deepest sympathy to you all.
Love,
Debbie

My husband, Chet, just came home and told me of my mom’s cousin, Bruce, having passed. It’s been almost a year and that made me really very sad. I’ve known Bruce my whole life. He is the star of so many hilarious memories. A few years back, my husband ruff necked with him, I believe it was on Cyclone 3. I made a big chocolate cake with pink frosting on his birthday and sent to the rig with Chet. I seen Bruce a few weeks later and he gave me a big hug. I should also say if it wasn’t for Bruce, I might not have ever been born. When my mom was little she fell in the spill way of Spring Brook Dam and it was Bruce that rescued her.
RIP Bruce, you silly bastard.
