I can’t express how much Les meant to me, and all the great things he taught me. He was my mentor, a great friend and a wonderful person. I can’t believe he’s gone. He was family when I didn’t have any, and he was truly a great man.

Les was among Williston's finest. He was duty-driven and a real pleasure to be around. I will miss his personable demeanor and sense of humor. He and Barb added so much to the community that they left a void when they moved to Minot.
Rest in peace Les, and Barb, know that your loss is shared by the many who admired him.

We will really miss Les at our zoom 1968 class sessions. He was kind enough to send each of us his book and was so humble about his writings. I smile and think of him every time I read another story. So sorry your family has lost his physical presence but I have a feeling his sense of humor, story telling and kind nature will live on in his kids and grandkids.
