Verna was a bright light. Such a kind and caring, faithful woman. She gave the best hugs. She was a constant presence in our Carns family for as long as I can remember. She always reminded me that she and Joe would often take me to church with them. She told me that when we went to church, I would always put my finger up to my lips and tell everybody to "shhh". God bless her memory.

Verna and Dean
Thinking of the Iverson family today as you grieve the loss, and celebrate the life of Verna. She was a dear friend of our family. She and my dad (Dean Strinden) reconnected during the brief time that he was in Bethel Home. She held his hand and prayed with him. She was so kind!
