Arnegard Family,
We are so sorry for your loss. We were heartbroken to hear the news as our bus was just approaching the interstate to head your way for a boys basketball game. We immediately went to our chapel when we returned to the high school to pray for Joey's soul & the entire Arnegard family and will continue to pray for you all.
God bless,
BJ Etzold & the St. Mary's Boys Basketball Team

God bless you and your family during this extremely difficult time. I think we can all envision Joey being embraced in God’s loving arms. He is definitely home.

We all hurt and mourn the loss of a brilliant, young man. A young man with the whole world in his grasp. Only God knows and He chose Joey's eternal reward, sooner than later, and in our earthly devastation, we can rejoice in that.

No greater joy comes into this world than a little bundle of love, that a mother watches grow into a fine young man. But in such times as this, no mere words can take away the pain that mother and all are feeling. I hope that amidst your tears you find a measure of hope and comfort in God's promises. For God’s love is proved by His memory of young Joey in every detail and if not one sparrow falls to the ground without His notice, certainly God will not forget your beloved son, nor the promises He holds out to all.—Mt. 10:29,31; John 5:28, 29, Rev.21:4; Ps.37:11, 29 My prayers are with you.
