Violet was one of the first people to make me feel welcome when I started working in Savage. I admired her energy and spirit. We developed a friendship that I will always keep close to my heart. We spent many Thursday lunches together while she still lived in Savage. I belive a special time for both of us. She made me feel loved like one of her own. Her family was always spoken of fondly, her love of her children and their families was obvious. Sincere condolences to each of you.

Violet will be missed. I enjoyed many visits with her at the nursing home in Sidney and when she stopped by the school for Senior lunches. She was a lot of fun! Loved her laugh.

Nice obituary and beautiful account of your Mom’s life. Violet was a wonderful, hard working, strong woman. I always enjoyed visiting with her at the Extended Care and hearing stories of the old times. I also appreciated her kindness and helpfulness to my Mom when they were in nearby rooms. Sending thoughts and prayers to you all.

I didn't get to know Violet for long. I met her at the extended care facility where I worked maintenance. She became one of my favorites and insisted that I was to take a break on a Thanksgiving shift and eat some pumpkin pie with her. I continued to check in on her. Throughout my shifts just to enjoy her company. I will never be able to eat pumpkin pie without thinking of Violet and her kindness. God indeed blessed Violet and may he comfort you with your loss.
