Thoughts and Prayers to Hals family. I got to spend alot of time with Hal back in the 70s. Gathering cattle and branding. A top hand as there ever was a horseback. He always rode some of the best horses.

I’ve known Hal most of my life.
When I say “My heroes have always been Cowboys “ Hal was right up there in my eyes. Having the opportunity to ride and work cattle along side of him will always be part of my greatest memories. The last time I visited with him, we talked of all the adventures, rough country we had rode. One of his last words to me was “there aren’t too many of us left”. I haven’t forgotten those words.
Hal is now where the grass is green and stirrup high with a great herd of horses by his side.
My deepest sympathy to all of his family and friends. Till we meet again my friend
