I was very sorry to learn of Orville's passing. He was a giant in the aeronautical industry, very talented in many technical areas in and away from work, humble, a great colleague and friend. RIP.

Orville was a friend and mentor to many of his technical associates at Honeywell. He was a superlative engineer and pilot and gave freely of his time to his coworkers. His depth of experience and knowledge were unparalleled, and I feel it an honor to work alongside him and share his friendship.
