This is very sad news. I always loved my visits with Leo about his daughter aka Little One. He truly loved talking to people and would be sure to say hi to everyone he knew. He will be missed.

Sure loved Leo! He was always a favorite to pick on and chat with when I worked at the Post Office, he would often come and visit. It was often stories I had heard before but he was always a delight! He will be missed in Sidney.

So sorry for your loss. He was a great man. Last time I saw him we were having breakfast at Sunnys. I was glad we got to BS. We had a history of giving each other a bad time when the Chiefs played the Raiders. One of the gatherings I will miss

Leo with Wendy at Club Tavern - Wendy's bday 2018
Oh, Leo, I have dreaded the day I would see your obituary posted since the post I saw on Facebook last week about you being in the hospital.. Leo, you became such a huge part of everybody's life in Sidney whether they frequented the bar or not. I don't think I know anyone back home that didn't have their life graced with your presence at one point or another. I know there were many nights I would just sit there and chit chat with you and listen to your stories of days gone by. I can't count the times that it was just me and you hanging out and you truly were just the right person to talk to during some pretty crazy times in my life. I couldn't very well let you hang out all by your lonesome in that little hole in the wall now could I? I do have to say though, Leo, whoever wrote your obituary was absolutely spot-on about how good of a human you were. This world lost one hell of a human when you took your last breath and I'll never be able to watch our Raiders again without thinking of you. And I will always be grateful that I was one of the few who managed to snap a picture of you! You are deeply missed already! Fly high, Sir Leo!

I loved this man so--every time I saw him, we'd talking (actually I TALKED and Leo would BS). I missed him when I didn't see him in the IGA. We visited there once after Carol passed and that was it. I loved Carol too--what a gal!!
