So very sorry to hear about your loss. Very nice lady. No doubt she’s been lonely the last two years. Thoughts and prayers for the family.

To the family of Carol. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you who were fortunate to have Carol in your life. I always enjoyed stopping to work with and visit with Carol and Syd. It was always a time of visiting about anything and everything. It was always a lot of laughs and conversation. They were special people and I am grateful to have gotten to them.

I am saddened to learn of Carol's passing. Carol was among the last of my Mom's cousins from the Sperre side of the family. Her mother was Signe Sperre, daughter of Tosten and Mathia Sperre. Signe married Sigvald Guttu in 1911.

Carol and I corresponded both via email and Christmas cards for several after my Mom's passing in 2001. We returned my Mom to Bottineau so that she could be buried next to her mother Signe, who died at a young age in 1936.

I enjoyed learning more about the Sperre side of the family from Carol and of course learning about the farm near Stanley.

Carol was officially my second cousin, of which I was very grateful to know.

My sympathies to my other second cousins and of course my third cousins, children of Carol and Syd.
