Alexis "Lexi" Michelle Meduna
June 7, 2003 - April 7, 2019

Place of Birth: Williston, North Dakota
Residence: Williston, North Dakota
Age: 15

Alexis “Lexi” Meduna, 15, of Williston, ND, passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2019 at Trinity Medical Hospital in Minot, ND due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Alexis (Lexi) Michelle Meduna was born on June 7, 2003 to Kris Meduna and Dawn (Schwartzenberger) Hustad in Williston, ND. She was raised in Williston and attended school at Wilkinson Elementary, Williston Middle School and Williston High School.

Lexi found a passion for dance at a very young age and danced in many shows and competitions as part of Studio 89. She was also an active member of the Clever Clovers 4-H Club.

She loved going on road trips and shopping with her mom, camping and fishing with her dad and driving side by side and 4-wheeler at her grandma and grandpa’s. She also cherished the moments she would get to spend with her big sis, Josie. Lexi also loved making sure her hair and makeup was just so.

Lexi was very social and had many friends. Getting coffee and driving around with her friends was a daily routine. She recently got her first job and was so excited to be making her own money. A few of her possible career paths she thought she might pursue were a cosmetologist, an interior designer or a lawyer (she had great arguing skills).

The recent birth of her brother gave her another purpose. She loved him from the start and couldn’t wait for him to grow so she could take him shopping and to the park.

Lexi’s smile, her laugh and her extremely kind heart will always be remembered.

She is survived by her mother, Dawn and stepdad Don Hustad; sister, Josie; father, Kris and stepmom, Chantel Meduna; brother, Carter; grandparents, Leroy and Del La Mar Schwartzenberger, Chuck and Janel Meduna, Wanda and Nolan Glock and Ron and Mary Jo Neubauer; great-grandparents, Leonard Hustad, Darlene (Toots) Allard, Charles and Irene Meduna; aunts and uncles, Den Na Lee Fewson, Kara (Michael Krueger) Meduna, Kalyn and Marcus Murphy, Kayden (Zach Pavlicek) Meduna, Holand and Danielle Neubauer, Tina and Scott Pontious; cousins, Brennalyn and Bridger Fewson, Addison, Beau and Vada Krueger, Marit Filkowski and Daxton and Sarah Murphy, Jamison and Ryland Neubauer, Jordan (Jacob) Braaten, Shania (Ben Murray) Passler, Ashley (Jarrett Botkins) Hustad, Calvin Pontious, Kandice (Morgan) Hendricks, Cierra Pontious.

Lexi was preceded in death by her grandmother, Paulette Meduna and grandpa, Don Hustad, Sr.; great grandparents, Mary Kuylen, Mike Adamski, John Kuylen, Gerald and Drusilla Zubke, Matt Schwartzenberger, Sr., Irene Schwartzenberger, Tommy Allard and Betty Hustad.
