Lori K. Hollingsworth was born to Eugene and Emogene Schroeder on October 10th, 1962 in Powers Lake, ND. One of five children, she graduated from Powers Lake High School with the class of 1980.

She married Kevin Hollingsworth on October 10th, 1982 in Battleview, ND. They briefly lived in Williston, ND before relocating to Gresham, Oregon where they raised their three sons, Caleb, Casey, and Colby.

Lori was a stay at home mom for most of her adult life, only taking part time work once Caleb was old enough to take care of Casey and Colby after school. When her sons were old enough, Lori went to work full time for US Bank in the check fraud department, preventing millions of dollars in fraud through her efforts.

Lori's greatest passion was family, attending every event each of her 3 sons participated in throughout their primary school years. Often, Lori went fishing with her husband Kevin and on many occasions caught the largest fish of the day! Lori loved playing cards with family and friends, even becoming highly skilled in playing video poker, one of her favorite past times, She was also very skilled in arts and crafts, such as cross stich and sewing.

Lori is survived by her husband, Kevin Hollingsworth of Gresham, OR; sons, Caleb (Sarah) Hollingsworth of Salem, OR, Casey Hollingsworth and Colby Hollingsworth both of Gresham, OR; brother, Jody (Amy) Schroeder of Powers Lake, ND; brothers-in-law, Loren Reinholdt and Glen Hagar of IL; grandson, Carter Hollingsworth; several nieces and nephews.

Lori is preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Emogene Schroeder; brother, Daniel Schroeder; sisters, Kristy Hagar and Michelle Reinholdt.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Lori’s family. She was the sweetest girl growing up in Battle View and such a good babysitter. Our hearts go out to you all. May God bless her memory.
