Age: 72

Lee (Sonny) Addicott, 72, of Camano Island, WA, formerly of White Earth, ND, passed away at the Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett, WA after his battle with ALS.

Lee was born to Lee and Violet (Olson) Addicott in Bellingham, WA on January 11, 1947. Lee grew up in White Earth, ND. He attended school in rural White Earth and later in Stanley, ND.

At a young age, Lee joined the workforce. He worked a short time making Whirla-Whips at the drug store, in the saw mill industry and as a mechanic. He then traveled and worked various oilfield and construction jobs. Lee enjoyed operating and fixing heavy equipment. He also worked for the union for a greater part of his career.

Throughout this time he had 7 wonderful children. After a long career, Lee retired.

Lee enjoyed fishing, playing guitar, music, gardening, turning wrenches (especially teaching his children a few things!) and spending time with family and close friends. Lee will be greatly missed.

Lee is survived by his children, Kendra Addicott, Karie Herman, Valerie Addicott, Lee Addicott, Daren Addicott, Jason (Tina) Addicott and Ken Addicott.; sisters, Bonita (James) Davis and Diann Addicott; brothers, Ronald (Carol) Addicott and Arnold (Gail) Addicott; 14 grandchildren, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his father, Lee Addicott; mother, Violet (Olson) Schenk; grandson, Aiden Addicott; uncles, aunts and cousins.

I am so very sorry to see this today. Lee (Sonny) was such a good friend from my younger days. Had not seen him for several years My deepest condolences to his family and friends RIP Dear Sonny.

I wish I couldve hugged you and told you how much I. Love you and that you were my favorite uncle! I'm going to miss you so much, but it hurt so bad to know how terrible lugatettes had effected you so fast. And I'm so thankful you aren't suffering any more! It must've been been terrible! I am sorry i wasnt there.
