To The Family of DeLaura: Thank you for sharing such a sweet lady with the rest of us. She was so kind to me. I will always think of her everytime I sew something. She gave me fabrics when she was cleaning stuff out. I still have some in a tub that I use. She was one of a kind and will be missed by many. May she rest in peace and finally be pain free. God Bless the Dodd's family.

In our youth, DeLaura was my cherished cousin ; as we aged and our lives took different paths, she became more of a sister of the heart. Although miles separated us memories kept us close and when we were lucky enough to spend time together it was as if we were young once again. I believe she is smiling down on all of the people she meant so much to and she has every intention of attending every "Gillis Reunion" whether it be held in a Canadian Province, a State of the Union or in Heaven. .
