Cameron Sarai Flying Horse, Holy Spirit (Maa?iraaxi Xubaash) was born on June 3, 2020 to Elmer and Norma (Baker) Flying Horse. She was a member of the Hidatsa, Dakota Sioux, Lakota Sioux, Assiniboine, and Dine tribes. She was a member of the Prairie Chicken Clan (Hidatsa). She was the youngest to five older siblings.
Cameron made her journey home after surviving twenty-three days with Edwards Syndrome (Trisomy 18). She was surrounded by her parents, siblings, and loved ones during her time here on earth.
Cameron is survived by: her parents, Elmer and Norma Flying Horse; her siblings, DeriAnn Flying Horse, Sierra Flying Horse, Julie Flying Horse, Elmer Flying Horse Jr., and Connor Flying Horse; maternal grandparents, Roberta Baker and Charles Moran Sr.; paternal grandparent, Ethelyn Moccasin; and various aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by: her paternal grandfather, Ronald Moccasin Sr.; first cousin, Leo Espino; and Uncle, Antonio Espino.
