Gregory Lee Zadow
March 16, 1949 - March 2, 2022

Place of Birth: Sidney, MT
Residence: Sidney, MT
Age: 72

Gregory Lee Zadow was born March 16, 1949 to Roy and Peggy (Obergfell) Zadow in Sidney Montana. Greg went to school at Hardy school until 7th grade. When he came to town for school he met his best friend Wayne Entzel, and they were inseparable.

He graduated from Sidney High School in 1967. His first car was a 1957 chevy car. After he graduated from High School, he sold that car to one of his buddys, and the way the story goes, is he was driving it to Oregon and ended up breaking down on the side of the road, so that is where it sat. Greg was not happy to hear about that.

Greg went into the Navy in February of 1968, and he was stationed in Baltimore. He did electrical work on the Navy ship while he was stationed out there. While in Baltimore he also met his first wife, Margaret Anderson, and in 1972 along came his first daughter, Marie Ann Zadow.

He later met Jackie Tansill in Baltimore and brought her and her 3 children back home to Sidney. It wasn’t long before he asked for her hand in marriage. Unfortunately, that marriage didn’t last too long so Jackie and the kids moved back to Baltimore. Greg stayed in Sidney and went to work for his parents, helping out with the pig farm. Sometime in the early 80’s, Greg went to work for Gurney electric. Back doing what he knew and loved.

In 1989, Greg got married to Terri McMillen and they had 2 girls, Katie Jean and Kali Jo. In 1995 they took a family trip to Baltimore to see his oldest daughter get married. At this time, Greg was working as a carpenter. He worked with Tim Larson from 1988 until 1994. Then from 94 till 2003 he was working with Dale Sponheim doing carpentry work as well. He then decided that he was getting to old to be crawling up on rooftops and being outside in the cold winters. So in 2004 he went to work at the factory (Sidney Sugars) as an electrician.

While at the factory he met Gloria Sifuentes and in 2012 he asked her to move in with him. They dated and worked together for several years and in 2019 they got married. Greg was still at the factory up till the very end, he was also defoliating beets for Todd Stinley. He always kept busy with hunting, fishing, woodwork, and the occasional beer or two down here at the VFW.

I apologize to all friends and family of my non observance of Greg's death, service, and celebration of life. It was due to my being unaware of life around me, not lack of caring about his loss of life and the grief suffered by his closest and dearest. Deepest condolences to all family and friends especially Aunt Peggy. Very sorry. 03/16/22
