Aaron Lee YoungBird ("White Eagle" Maaishu - Adagish), 31 of Mandaree passed away July 15, 2022 in Minot, ND. He was born in Watford City to his parents Donald YoungBird & Inez Baker on July 26, 1990.

Aaron was an avid basketball fan, he loved the Boston Celtics & Mandaree Warriors, he loved playing video games, joking around and was known for his heart. Growing up he loved the Power Rangers and always wanted to be the “Green Ranger”. He also enjoyed Mortal Combat & professional wrestling.

Aaron graduated from Mandaree High School in 2010. He attended Bismarck State College and Fort Berthold Community College. He was a member of the Alkli Lodge (Maxoxadi) and a child of the Chicken Clan (Ciigcga). Aaron loved working as a carpenter in the construction industry.

Aaron is survived by his children Harmony YoungBird, Jordan YoungBird, Saphire YoungBird, father Donald YoungBird, sisters Marlene YoungBird (Samuel Chapin), Heather YoungBird (Ginger Anderson), Amber YoungBird, Sandy YoungBird, Teliea Baker (Josh Navarro), Ashley Baker, brothers Clancy YoungBird – LoneFight, William Baker, aunts Connie WhiteBear & Renee WhiteBear, uncle Boyce Baker, grandmother Arvella White (Wendell).

Aaron is preceded in death by his mother Inez Baker, brother Lyman YoungBird, sister Francine WhiteOwl, grandparents LeRoy & Marlene YoungBird, grandfather Meredith Baker, & aunt Pamela Baker.

Rest in Peace Aaron..I taught Aaron in Kindergarten..He was.full..of energy.. Cute boy use to love.rodeos and the power rangers..

Thank you Aaron for your willingness to be a great team player in our year that we made it to the State Class B BBB tournament. You were the guy other teams forgot about because of your ability to make the extra pass but you proved capable to score and make a play when we needed one. Farewell my relative. Coach Finley.
