Service
Red's Memorial Service will be held on August 3, 2022, at 2:00 pm at the Church of Nazarene, Sidney, MT. Pastor Richard Evans is officiating. A luncheon will follow after the service at the church.

Red is under the care of Fulkerson-Stevenson Funeral Home in Sidney, MT.

David Black, "Red", 82 of Sidney, MT, passed away on Monday, July 25, 2022 at Sidney Health Care in Sidney, MT.

Red was born in West Frankfort, IL on January 18th, 1940, to Alma (Dotson) and Hugh Black.

Red spent 40 years working in the oil fields of North Dakota and Eastern Montana. He had several oil field service companies throughout the years with his last business being Red's Roustabout, Inc.

Red is survived by his wife, Kathy; son, David (Kristina) Anderson; daughters, Samantha (Charlie Roth) and Lisa Ham; brothers, Jim (Sharon) Kerley and Steve (Jane) Kerley; favorite niece and nephew, Steph and Stevie Kerley; 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jewel and Alma Kerley; sister, Reathel; daughter, Lisa Knudson; and son, Steven.

Terry and I had the up most respect for Red, he was an amazing man! Terry offered thought of Red as kinda like his 2nd dad. He will be missed by many. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family.
