Danna Dingman
January 10, 1958 - March 7, 2023

Place of Birth: Long Beach, California
Residence: Stanley, North Dakota
Age: 65

Danna Dingman, 65, of Stanley, ND passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at the Mountrail County Medical Center in Stanley, ND.

Danna was born on January 10, 1958 in Long Beach, California to Frank and Saluria Dollahite. She was the widow of her beloved husband, Al Dingman (who passed away on February 5, 1999). She was a loved sister, mother to five children, and the grandmother to seven. Danna graduated from Los Lunas High School in 1976 and went on to receive a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Aquinas College. Danna worked most of her adult life at Preferred Federal Credit Union, where she earned the position of Vice President.

While Danna didn’t win awards for her art or make her living as a painter, to those that knew her she was a talented and passionate creator. She loved art and she always had a painting on the canvas. Her passion for her art was an inspiration to her children and will live on through them.

Danna was a tireless worker. She always gave her best, never complained, and rarely called in sick. As the primary provider for her family, her work ethic was the foundation on which her children stood.

Her religious views were molded by her life experiences and she was always faithful even in the face of hardships that gave her every reason to turn away. She lived her life as a devout Christian.

Danna embodied the virtues of what a spouse should be. She kept her vows of sickness and health, richer or poorer, till death do part. She was a constant and faithful wife.
Danna was someone who could endure great hardship with strength, dignity, and perseverance. She proved this many times, no more so than during her final fight with cancer. She was a standard of strength. This is a trait for which she will be remembered.

Danna is survived by her mother, Saluria Beatrice Dollahite; brother, Lesley (Ann) Dollahite; children, Douglas (Dawn) Dingman, Julia (Josh) Buck, Daniel Dingman, Elmer (Ashley) Dingman, and Christopher Dingman; grandchildren, Jeremy Buck, Ethan Buck, Lindsey Johnston, Savanna Dingman, Cloe Dingman, Emily Dingman, and Benjamin Dingman.

She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Lesley Dollahite; and her beloved husband, Al Dingman.
