It Is Our Privilege And Purpose To Serve You
Drew Brian Bybee
May 14, 2007 - April 3, 2023

Place of Birth: Pocatello, Idaho
Residence: Williston, North Dakota
Age: 15

Drew Bybee, 15, of Williston, ND passed away on Monday, April 3, 2023 at CHI St. Alexius in Williston, ND due to injuries sustained in an accident. Fulkerson Stevenson Funeral Home in Williston is assisting the family.

Drew was born on May 14, 2007 to Brian and Jennifer Bybee in Pocatello, Idaho. Drew was an absolutely beautiful baby who was the apple of our eye. Even as a baby, Drew always had a smile. As he got older, he could make anyone laugh with just one word or facial expression. He was always there to champion his family and friends, especially when he knew they needed it more than they let on.

Drew enjoyed riding dirt bikes, hunting, fishing, and especially loved his second gen Dodge diesel. He loved spending time with the boys and his girlfriend, Kelea. He was also a talented wrestler and loved playing football. Drew was a very athletic kid who loved spending time with his family outdoors on dirt bikes or the four wheeler.

He was cute, kind, and such a fun loving young man. His niece affectionately named him “Romeo” because she thought he was so cute, and he really, really was so cute. He was very sweet to his niece. Drew also had a special bond with his siblings. They were so mischievous while they were little and caused so much ruckus, but we wouldn't change a thing. Drew was very loyal and would defend his family and friends to anyone. He was the glue that cemented our family and we are so grateful to our Father in Heaven for allowing us the privilege of having this beautiful boy in our lives for almost 16 years. We are truly honored and humbled to have had the opportunity to raise this young man. We love you, Drew-Drew, and miss you to the moon.

Drew is survived by his parents, Brian and Jennifer Bybee as well as his siblings, Tiffany (Josh) Carlisle, Jaylen Forman, Gabriel Bybee, and Kaylee Bybee. He is also survived by his niece, Athena Forman; his grandparents, Geary and Marsha Bybee, Jay and Ann Merkley; and by many aunts, uncles, cousins and other extended family who love and miss him to pieces.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Nelda Bybee; aunt, Rebecca Bybee.

Drew,
Sure would brighten my day when you would come see me in my classroom and/or classes. Always gave me a big hug and that cheesy smile. I will never forget it. That laugh of yours I can hear it now like it was yesterday. You will be dearly missed by many. I love you kiddo. Praying for you all Bybee family. In my thoughts and prayers .

You will be truly missed by so many people, you were such an amazing person and such a great friend. I can't stop thinking about the time when we talked for hours and hours sitting on the floor in my kitchen this summer while waiting for my brother to get back. Having that heart to heart conversation with you will forever be held in my heart, and l am so thankful I got to know you. You were such a big part of my life, and i always thought the world of you. You were the one I always looked too for advice or approval. And that time we went fishing down at the pump house and caught so many cat fish and went swimming, and just had a really great time, just smiling and laughing at the dumbest of things. I always thought u had such an amazing smile. And the way your face lights up when your doing the things you love is just so inspiring. I'm really gonna miss you and I hope your raising hell up there. I Love you!

Brian, Jen, & family
Jan and I extend our deepest sympathy to your entire family during this deeply tragic time of your life. I, too, have lost a young adult child (and my wife of 30 years two years later...), and it is not an easy thing to get through, but you WILL get through this. The pain will diminish in time but it will never go completely away. I think of them both every day, but that is a good thing because it means that they still live in my heart, and will continue to live there until it beats no more.

One of my former student drivers at Crete Carrier told me something very profound that helped me after my daughter passed away on Christmas Eve of 2004, and it might help you. He said, "The pain of a loss is the price we must all pay for having loved someone." It is a bittersweet statement, but it is so true.

There is a huge hole in your heart than will never be filled, but you will find peace in knowing that God gave Drew to you to touch your lives during his much-too-short time with us. You will see him again when we all meet our Lord and Savior.

Goo bless you all, and I will always be here to lend you an ear 24/7. Just call and vent if you need to.

Love to you all.
{{ Bybee Family }} <--- Big hug to all of you

I do not know you or your precious son, but I do know each and everything you are going through, and because of that my heart aches for you. My Bryan was called to his heavenly home 3 1/2 years ago, and it is an agonizing pain I wish no parent would ever have to feel. I wish there was words that could help ease your pain, but alas I know there are none to be found. You are all in my thoughts and prayers as you navigate the depths of your grief. I pray God wraps his arms around you in your time of need.

Came upon Drew's story quite by accident. I believe I was supposed to happen along. I was born 66 yrs ago in Plentywood. Arrived by plane from the Flathead Valley to Willison several yrs ago, for my Uncle Kenny Keldsen's funeral.
Days go by....but I cannot imagine the depth of your hurt going by. Your son, your baby. But you will see him again, and think of that embrace every day, every minute if you have to. I believe it to be so. We ask why? But not for us to figure out or need to know. His heavenly father chose him that day...and Rejoice in the knowing...the knowing of our Saviour Jesus Christ. Sending BIG virtual hugs from Columbia Falls MT.....prayers have been sent...

My prayers go out to the Bybee Family. Drew was taken way too soon. The wrestling community lost a great one and we will truly miss him everyday. He sure had a contagious smile, one that will never be forgotten.

Oh drew, I don’t even know where to start. When i first saw your smile i knew instantly I needed to get to know you. So I did, and you made life so much more easier. You were always there for me to vent about anything. You never got annoyed of when i would talk about things you didn’t want to talk about. Your hugs drew, they brightened my day. You made me laugh until i cried. You always knew how to put a smile on my face. We weren’t as close as we were anymore before your accident, but I still love you with every inch of my heart Bybee. Bybee family you are always gonna be in my heart, thoughts, and prayers. Thank you Jen and Brian for making such an amazing young man. Fly high buddy

A year. Although you don't know me, I've thought of you so often this past year. I pray that Heaven welcomed you with all the love and glory we've been promised. Your mom and dad are special people and I'm sure raised a wonderful boy. Fly high, sweet Drew.
