Our beloved sister, wife, aunt, and friend returned to her Heavenly Father unexpectedly on June 1, 2023, at the young age of 60 in Cincinnati, OH.

Lori was born in Kenmare, North Dakota on May 3, 1963, to Gordan and Rita (Fillion) Guerdett. She was raised along with her siblings at the family farmstead north of Bowbells, ND and attended local schools graduating from Bowbells High in 1981. Lori moved to New Iberia, LA in 1982 where she learned portrait photography at Olan Mills Studio. She moved on to Slidell, LA and waited tables at the Cracker Barrel there and in Covington for numerous years. Her sunny disposition made her a customer favorite and she built a strong following.

Lori met her loving husband in Slidell, and they were married there in 2018. She enjoyed moving with him as his construction firm moved him around the country. Lori and Jim were looking forward to retirement and were building their forever home in Warsaw, MO for that eventuality.

Lori’s caring spirit and generous heart were quickly felt by anyone with whom she connected. She possessed the ability to see the good in people and the special gift of bringing out the best in them as well. Lori was an avid lover of the outdoors, spent time traveling the states, taking care of domestic and small wild animals at her home with her husband, Jim Green in Missouri. She had a way of drawing out butterflies and other animals to her. Lori’s love for riding on the Harley, outdoors, and music were only surpassed by the love she had for her family. Her distinctive laugh was infectious and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Her mother, Rita (Fillion) Guerdett, and her father, Gordon Guerdett; her uncles, Luke and Frank Guerdett; and her aunt, Mary (Guerdett) D’Orr pre-deceased Lori.

She is survived by her loving husband, Jim Green; siblings, Barbara Guerdett, Jo Ann Detke (Travis), Lisa Hartel (Duane), Raymond Guerdett, and Debbie Footh (Neil); numerous nieces and nephews; her aunt, Rose Lance and uncle Rob Guerdett; and numerous cousins and friends across the country.
