Bradley R. Hartsoch, 65, of Hamilton, MT passed away on November 10, 2024 at his residence in Hamilton, MT.

Bradley Ray Hartsoch was born July 12th, 1959 to Maynard and Cleo Hartsoch. He joined three brothers and one sister in their home in Temple and later the family farm a few miles away. The family worshipped at Zion Lutheran Church in Tioga where Brad was baptized and confirmed. He attended school in Tioga but left for oil field work before completing high school.

On March 20th, 1987, he was united in marriage to Kristine Lucy. Together they were blessed with two children, Christopher Ray and McKenzie LeRae.

Brad completed his GED and went on to college at UND graduating May 11th, 1990 with a diploma in Ag Conservation.

Leaving his home he worked his way to Montana and later settled in Hamilton, Mt. He suffered a debilitating accident when a fork lift handler dropped a load of lumber severely injuring his knee. Following the injury his work was centered mostly from his shop where his creative talents were put to work with wood, welding and fabricating projects. He later started his own business, MonDak Fabricating.

On July 23rd, 2012, Brad and Darcie Talbott married and her four grown sons and a young daughter Treeya became part of his life. Treeya became more than a step-daughter to him as she and her mother’s love for animals erased any loneliness plaguing his life. He was kept busy building a horse corral, chicken coop and tending a huge garden along with attending Treeya’s school and sporting events.

Trouble seemed to follow Brad as this marriage also ended, Treeya remained close to Brad and considered him her dad.

Brads shop became a hub for weekend card party and gatherings. His caring and generous spirit was evident in the neighborhood gathering, bonfire and incredible fireworks display following word of Brads passing. So many friends and neighbors gathered to mourn and celebrate his life. Christopher, Greg and Sharon were blessed to hear the many special stories of Brads friendship, helping some out in a time of need, his incredible generosity and most important how they all felt in some way part of a caring family.

Brad is survived by his children Christopher (Ezara) Hartsoch, grandchildren Raylee, Jordan and Hazlynn. McKenzie (Andrew) Johnson grandchildren Joslynn, Jett and Jayna their mother and grandmother Kristine (Lucy) Mahlen. His brothers Roger (Patricia) Hartsoch, Gregory (Peggy) Hartsoch, and sister Sharon (Keith) Anderson, and numerous nieces and nephews. Former wife Darcie Talbott, step-daughter Treeya (Keegan) and stepsons, Zak, Brandon and Robert.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Maynard and Cleo (MacMonagle) Hartsoch, infant sister Corrine, and oldest brother Dixon.
