It Is Our Privilege And Purpose To Serve You
Everett G Williams
December 2, 1939 - February 2, 2025

Place of Birth: Sidney, Montana
Residence: Lambert, Montana
Age: 85

Everett was born on December 2, 1939, to Floyd and Evelyn Williams in Sidney, Montana. Everett attended Roberts school until sixth grade when he then went into Lambert and graduated from Lambert school in 1958. After high school, he attended college in Havre, Montana.

Everett married Sharon DeVoir in Billings, Montana on December 17, 1960. They started their married life back on the family farm north of Lambert where they raised their three children; Kathleen, Coleen, and Daniel. During this time, Everett also worked for Hines Implement, did carpentry work, and custom harvesting with the Red Carpet Harvesters.

While Everett enjoyed his children, his true pride and joy were his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Everett and Sharon enjoyed many sports events, namely basketball and football games with their children and grandchildren as the Lambert Lions. In later years, the Montana Grizzlies were their passion. They also enjoyed fishing in the area lakes. After spending several years fishing at Lake Sakakawea and Fort Peck, Everett and Sharon eventually got a summer home at Fort Peck to enjoy.

Everett also enjoyed driving and working on stock cars with his son-in-law, Russel. Everett spent countless hours restoring his brother Dean’s 1954 Oldsmobile, which he really enjoyed driving in the Lambert 4th of July Parade.

Everett served on the Lambert School Board, Lambert Elevator Board, Lambert Lion’s Den Board, and was a member of the First Lutheran Church of Lambert and Missoula GSA.

Everett is survived by his three children Kathleen (Russel Thornton), Coleen (Kip Swearingen), and Daniel Williams; grandchildren Amanda Wambolt (Freddie), Cole Thornton (Jana), Ross Thornton, Sheridan Dean (Parker) and Amelia Williams (Teagan Hummer; and great-grandchildren Karlee Wambolt, Kyler Wambolt, Cohen Thornton, and Quinn Thornton.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon; parents Floyd and Evelyn Williams; in-laws Patrick and Ann DeVoir; and his brother Dean Williams.

Sorry to hear about Everett, he saved me back in 1973 when u was in my way home from Lambert and broke down by their house in the country, my folks couldn't come and get me so he took me home, had to be minus 39 below that night, bad thing was he had a flat tire on his way back home and froze his fingers changing the tire. I have always and will never forget him for that kindness. He was a griz fan for sure, very good man.

Kathy, Coleen & Dan,
I am so very sorry about your dad. I will always remember his and your mom's support for all of Lambert's school and sports activities. I was always grateful for the encouragement (and usually some teasing) your dad would give and the hugs from your mom after a basketball game. You don't always appreciate those things until later years. Prayers to you all for strength and peace as you navigate the time ahead.

Kathy, Coleen, Dan & families,
I am so sorry for your loss. Your parents were huge supporters for Lambert, no matter what sport or activity it was. I would see your parents once in awhile at the grocery store in Glasgow when they were at their summer home in Fort Peck, later just Everett. Always a great visit. Prayers to you all for the days ahead.
