Bernice M Feiring
September 26, 1936 - February 19, 2025

Place of Birth: Stanley, North Dakota
Residence: White Earth, North Dakota
Age: 88

Bernice Marie (Saby) Feiring, 88, passed away peacefully at the Tioga Medical Center Long Term Care in Tioga, ND on Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2025.

Bernice was born in Stanley, ND on September 26,1936 to Malenius and Irene (Halvorson) Saby. She was raised on the family farm, south of White Earth, ND. Bernice attended Boyd #2 Country School and graduated from Stanley High School in 1955. She obtained her Education Certificate from Minot State College. Following graduation, Bernice taught at Pearl Valley #1 Country School, south of Ross, ND, and White Earth Public School.

Bernice married Robert Feiring on August 17, 1958. They made their home in White Earth except for a brief time when they lived in Washington while Bob served in the Army. In the spring of 1967, Bob and Bernice moved to their ranch east of White Earth, where they raised registered and commercial Angus cattle.

Walt Disney once said, “Life is beautiful. It’s about giving. It’s about family.” Bernice lived her life in this way, with a generous heart and an unwavering devotion to her family. Bernice devoted her time and energy to supporting Bob on the ranch, cooking meals, packing lunches, running errands and more. Bernice met Bob at a dance and her life was beautiful when being twirled around the dance floor by Bob. She enjoyed waltzing and square dancing.

To her children- Roberta, Juanita, Doug, Duane, Janell, and Donnie- she was the embodiment of selfless love. A constant source of support. She was always there to listen, offer guidance, and lift their spirits. She gave of herself selflessly, always striving to make life more beautiful for those she cherished most.

In Proverbs 3:5, we are told to “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” Bernice had a strong faith and leaned on God daily. As a ranch wife, and mother to Jaunita, who had cerebral palsy, and five other children, she selflessly gave herself to manage life challenges. Despite the challenges and sacrifices she made, Bernice never forgot to offer thanks and praise to God, for the many blessings bestowed upon her.

Bernice gave her time and talents to several organizations—First Lutheran Church, White Earth, ND where she held many offices and taught Sunday School; Happy 12 Homemakers Club; White Earth Wildcats 4-H Club; American Legion Auxiliary, TOPS, ND Stockmen’s Association; and the Swing and Twirl Square Dance Club.

Bernice is survived by children; Roberta (Charles) Ramberg, White Earth; Doug (Ceylon) Feiring, Powers Lake; Duane (Janell Lynn), McHenry, ND; Janell (Keith) Hauck, Forbes, ND; and Donnie (Trisha) Feiring, Beach, ND. I am so sorry for the loss of Bernice. She was always so nice and kind to visit with. I got to know her when my Dad was in the home in Tioga, and my Momma moved into an apartment on the other side. She was always checking on our momma. I know all the residents in the apartments are going t miss .her so much. God has gained another beautiful angel for his garden. Cherish all your memories and keep them close to your heart.
RIP Bernice.
