Scott Kenneth Barrie age 61 of Watford City, North Dakota passed away at home on June 20, 2025.

Scott was born on February 16, 1964, to Kenneth and Mary Lou Barrie in Pontiac, Michigan. Scott graduated from Hillman Community School and went on to acquire a certificate in welding at Alpena Community College.

His love for equipment led him to build a career in excavating. He created and became the owner and operator of Barrie’s excavating.

Scott was blessed with four children, Tyler, Kyle, Kelsi, and Bella. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, and shooting pool. He enjoyed his time with family and friends and running equipment as well.

Scott is survived by his sons Tyler (Brandy) Barrie, Kyle (Brandi) Barrie and daughter Bella Barrie. Scaott was blessed with two grandchildren, Creed and Evelyn Barrie, a brother Shawn (Lisa) Barrie and sister Lisa (Bill) Dove.

Scott was proceeded in death by his daughter, Kelsi and his parents, Kenneth and Mary Lou Barrie.
