Lila Volz, 93, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2025, at Roosevelt Medical Center in Culbertson, Montana.
Lila was born January 22, 1932, in Williston, North Dakota. She married Arnold Volz in August of 1956. They lived in Ray, North Dakota where they raised their three children: Gary, LeAnn and Greg. Lila worked and donated her time to helping others at Mercy Medical Center in Williston, ND. After raising their children Arnold and Lila moved to Yuma, AZ where they enjoyed spending time with family and friends. When they moved back North they finally settled down and resided in Fairview, MT.
Lila was best known for her love of animals and was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.
Lila is survived by her three children Gary (Carla) Volz of Indianapolis, Indiana, LeAnn (Shane) Herman of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Greg Volz of Williston, North Dakota; brother Donald T. Larson of Spokane, Washington; grandchildren Justin Volz, Jessica Niland, Chase Herman, Ryan Volz, and Riely Volz; and great-grandchildren Joey Niland, Jack Niland, Seth Herman, and Arla Volz.
Lila is preceded in death by her parents Theodore and Mable Larson, brothers Kenneth and Leonard Larson and husband Arnold Volz.
