Mark Daniel Price
August 7, 1963 - July 20, 2025

Place of Birth: Billings, Montana
Residence: Formerly of Sidney, MT
Age: 61

Mark Daniel Price succumbed to brain cancer (Glioblastoma) on July 20, 2025, at his home in Crystal Lake, Illinois with his family by his side.

Mark was born to his parents, Craig and Anita Price, on August 7, 1963, in Billings, Montana. He lived with his parents in Absarokee, MT, then Havre, MT, before settling in Sidney, MT, where Mark graduated from Sidney High School in 1982. Mark attended college at Southern Idaho with a baseball scholarship then finished his business degree at MSU Billings. He then became a successful CPA. He practiced in Minnesota and Illinois.

An outstanding athlete, he played football, basketball, track, baseball and golf. Mark received many awards including 2 holes in 1 at Bull Valley Golf Club and Sidney Country Club.

Raising his daughter, Lauren Elizabeth and son, Ryan Daniel, was Mark's greatest accomplishment. He was very involved in their activities, coaching baseball and softball.

Mark loved his extended family- his cousins called him the “Golden Son” because of the love he received from his grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. Mark’s best friend was his brother, Matt. They had a relationship of great brotherly love. Matt was always there and especially supportive of Mark’s cancer fight.

Mark was a member of Lonsdale Methodist Church in Sidney. He was an active member of the church and his faith was very important to him.

After a whirlwind of meeting, working together, dating and falling in love, Mark and Kelly Vito married on October 28. 2023. Kelly sealed her love for Mark by lovingly taking care of him in his journey. Our family is blessed by having Kelly in our lives. Kelly’s children- Christopher Vito, Angela Cox (Evan), Abby Vito, and Ang Johnson fit well into the family. Mark’s longtime friends, Mitch Melby and Brian Paladuchuk also stayed close by his side.

Mark is survived by his wife Kelly Vito Price; parents Craig and Anita Price; brother Matthew (Stacie) Price; children Lauren Elizabeth (Jared) Herrmann and Ryan Daniel (Jenna) Price; grandchildren Aiden Herrmann, Asher Herrmann, Brooks Price, Mae Johnson, and Iris Johnson; nephews Taylor (Lexi) Price and Mason Price; extended family Christopher Vito, Angela (Evan) Cox, Abby Vito, and Ang (Kyle) Johnson; many uncles, aunts and cousins; forever friends Lance and Troy Butner; and all of Mark’s 1982 classmates. Once an Eagle, always an Eagle.

Preceding Mark in death were his grandparents Dan and Dorothy Price, and Edward and Vesta Ahlquist; and uncle Ed Ahlquist, Jr.

Memorial Contribution
In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in Mark’s name to The Glioblastoma Foundation (glioblastomafoundation.org) or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital (stjude.org).
