Cindy L. Rehkopf, 67, of Williston, ND passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 1, 2025 at the CHI St. Alexius Hospital in Williston, ND.

Cindy Rehkopf, born Cindy Lynn Rule in Lansing, Michigan, was born on February 10, 1958. She met Ron and they were married on August 31, 1984 and spent 41 years together. They spent their lives together traveling across country. Over the years Cindy touched so many people’s lives with her big heart. They took in many “kids” as their own. Showing them love and support through good and hard times. We would like to recognize Stacy McGlone, Andrew Taylor, Jose Garcia, Jenelle McCracken, Theresa Hickey and her children, Zyla, Josh and Alex, Amanda Anderson; Neil Hazelton and his children, Jeremy and Kristy; Rachel Vaughn and her children, Tannyn, Alyssa and Olivia; Serenity Wells and her son, Preston; and Donelle VanNatta.

She was a devoted mother and grandma. Her love of God and family showed in everything she did from homeschooling her girls to crafting to being the best grandma. Cindy owned and operated her cleaning business in more than one state. One memory we can all share of Cindy is, she enjoyed sitting around playing games….any games. She just loved living life and having fun. Over the years she has battled mental and physical illnesses, teaching each of us that we can and will overcome. Over the last 5 years she has fought many health battles, winning against breast cancer, skin cancer and lung cancer. Even in the midst of these battles she remained strong. Before this tragic accident, Cindy and Ron spent an amazing day fishing.

She is survived by her husband, Ron Rehkopf; 2 daughters, Shawna (Rehkopf) Johnson and Rhondalyn (Rehkopf) McIntosh; 2 sons-in-law, Greg Johnson and Kris McIntosh; 6 grandchildren, Kourtnee Johnson, RJ Shelton, Abby McIntosh, Luella Johnson, Oliver McIntosh and Matthew McIntosh; sister, Judy Gardner; sister-in-law, Linda Mosher; brother-in-law, Dave Montgomery.

She is proceeded in death by her parents; siblings, Buddy Rule, Jay Mosher, Dorothy Montgomery, Linda Mosher; parents-in-law, Mary and Donald Rehkopf.
