Clarence Wade Hartle, whom almost everyone knew as Wade, passed away at the Sidney Health Center on the morning of September 4, 2025. Wade struggled with lung issues for several years and watched the love of his life Daniela, his wife of 31 years, pass away a little over a year and half ago after battling cancer. He has gone to join her and both their parents, Roy and Patricia Hartle and Leon and Raveca Sev, on the other side.
Wade was born in Glasgow, MT on March 2, 1958, but grew up and lived his entire life in Sidney except to attend college at MSU in Bozeman. After trips to Romania and a lot of letters and phone calls, Daniela immigrated to the US and they married on June 20, 1993, at the Assembly of God Church.
Wade is survived by his four siblings; brother Dana Hartle and wife Trudy Landry, his sister Wendy and husband Jeffrey Hodges, sister Tammy and husband Donald (Craig) Dozier, and sister Shanna Hartle. He is also survived by 3 nieces, 4 nephews and several grand nephews and nieces.
While Wade and Daniela never had children of their own and all his siblings had moved from Montana, Wade did find a surrogate family in the children of one of his best friends. In those children, and their children, he found a family to lean on after Daniela’s passing.
Wade was known as a generous and helpful individual to his friends and family. He will be greatly missed by all.
Memorial Contribution
Wade preferred living plants so please plant a tree, shrub, or flower in his memory instead of sending a cut flower arrangement. Or you can go to https://www.alivingtribute.org and purchase a tree to be planted in his name in a National Forest of your choice.
