Dorothy Rodgers passed away October 20th, 2025 at Intermountain Health in Billings, MT surrounded by loved ones.

Dorothy was born December 23, 1933 to Christine (Olsen) and Harold Henderson in Sidney, MT. She was the oldest of 5 children. When she was 16 she met Theodor (Ted) Rodgers and they were married July 16th, 1950. They had 5 children together: Robert, Rolan, Colleen, Valerie, and Branden. They had 10 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

Dorothy held many different job titles. In her early years she sold Avon. She was a flag lady for the State Highway Department with her mother. But her most important job was being a house wife and mother.
She was known for her strength; beating breast cancer, colon cancer, a stroke and COVID.

In her free time, Dorothy enjoyed cooking for family, dancing with her husband, hanging out at the casino, or talking on the phone with her children.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents (Christine and Harold), granddaughter (Tina Casares), husband (Ted), and son (Robert [wife Lucy, still living]). She leaves behind her siblings Larry (Jill) Henderson of Medford, Oregon , Marvin Henderson of Helena, MT, Darlean (Dick) Jonasen of Billings, MT , and Loraine (Jim) Gallagher of San Clemente, CA ; her children Rolan (Susanne) Rodgers of Kirkland, AZ, Colleen (Dave) Hager of Roanoke Rapids, SC, Valerie (Bob) Shiff of Billings, MT, and Branden (Eran) Rodgers of Billings, MT; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

R.I.P. Dorothy, This world just lost a beautiful soul whom I am proud to have known, She was like a second mother to me for a few years and was always there for her family and extended family as well. she will remain in our hearts for eternity, Thankyou Dorothy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just reading this now. I am so, so very sorry. But I bet she is shopping big time and showing others the real deals! Lifting her Children and Grandchildren in Prayer for Peace and Comfort.
