Dorothy Kaye Keever, passed away peacefully in her home on November 28, 2025 with her loving family by her side.

Dorothy was born to Alf and Anna (Bratlien) Holm on April 21, 1949 in Minot, ND. She was the youngest of four children and was raised on the family farm. Her kindness and warmth touched everyone she met. Her laughter could light up a room, and her heart was always open to family, friends, and anyone in need.

Dorothy’s greatest joy was her family. She shared a beautiful life with her devoted husband, Dale Keever, and was a proud mother to Shelli (Brian) Hayes and Chris (Sherri) Stover. She was blessed with 8 grandchildren, Scott (Brenna) Freed, Zach (Kianna) Freed, Trevor Hayes, Chris (Sarah) Stinespring, Sydni (Zach) Coffman, Casey Stover, Colten Stover, Colby Stover, 16 great-grandchildren and one more arriving in February and her beloved dog, Bella. Each of whom brought her endless happiness and pride.

Dorothy loved spending time with her family, quilting, gardening, being in the barnyard and baking. She loved to go fishing with Dale and whatever family members would join them, eating sunflower seeds was a must when fishing. Dorothy, her cousins and aunt, Mabel would have a “hen party” monthly to visit, laugh and enjoy each other’s company and she loved going to see everyone. Her home was always filled with the comforting aroma of something sweet in the oven and the warmth of her handmade quilts. She created a space where love and laughter thrived, and those memories will live on forever.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Dale; children, Shelli (Brian) Hayes, Chris (Sherri) Stover; 8 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Stewart; brother, Jerome Holm; In-laws, Hugh and Marlene Keever; numerous nieces and nephews; cousins and extended family who will cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by her father, Alf Holm; her mother, Anna Holm; sister, Judy Rassier.

Dorothy’s legacy is one of compassion, resilience, and unconditional love. Her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of her loved ones.

To Dorothy’s family, my deepest sympathy on her passing. Decades ago I lived across the hall from the “Holm girls”. She was lots of fun. Special memories of those times. Rest in peace, Dorothy. ??????

My deepest sympathy to all of Dorothy's family on this great loss. Just so heartbreaking. I met Dorothy and Dale when Dorothy's mom Anna was in Bethel. We became friends instantly and had remained friends thruout the following years. I am just sad -- rest my friend -- Dorothy you will be greatly missed by all. Love you my friend -- until we meet again..
