Lucas Michael Baumeister was born December 8th 2009, in Glendive, MT to Desirae Stanford and Joseph Baumeister, sadly passed away early morning January 1st, 2026.

Lucas was very unique in all the best ways possible. He was never afraid to be himself and took care of everyone around him more than he did himself sometimes. His heart was so big he couldn't hold negative feelings for anyone or anything for long. He loved telling jokes, making people laugh was his daily mission. He would do anything for those he loved, and he protected his friends and family fiercely. He was a gentlemen and protector for his female friends, him and "The boys" thought they were boxers or MMA fighters kicking each other’s butts all the time. He was incredibly smart but stubborn as hell. He had a temper and some rough moments, but he was always honest and owned his mistakes and was never afraid to call people out for theirs. He loved music, drawing, swimming and dancing to Michael Jackson when he was younger. He was learning to whittle wood, wanted to be a rapper or join the military. He worked hard and took pride in his job at Powder Keg. The bond he had with Isaiah could never be broken they fought each other, but nobody could touch them, Rayann was sometimes his other mother and sometimes his tormentor or he was hers. There are so many things to say and memories we will all hold close.

He is preceded in death by several great grandparents, great aunts and great uncles. Some he never met and some he barely knew but we spoke fondly of them and his heart was big enough to care for them all.

He is Survived by his mother Desirae Stanford, and brother Isaiah Baumeister from Fairview, MT, sister Rayann Stanford with baby Due in April, and brother-in-Law Jake Kuhn from Jerome, Idaho, moms’ special friend Andrew Hermann Sidney, MT and bonus siblings Serenity Hermann and Isadora Hermann from Twin falls, Idaho. His father Joseph Baumeister, bonus mom Heather Baumeister, siblings Skylar, Jacob, Karissabelle, and Brentley all from Declo, Idaho. His grandparents Mike and Gail Stanford from Savage, MT, Grandma Joan Baumeister from Billings, MT. Aunt Alyssa Mueller, Uncle Phil Mueller and cousins Harper and Nolan from Watford City, ND. Aunt Kaylee Hurley, Uncle Brendan Hurley and cousins Adyssen, Ember and Leah from Fairview, MT. Many more aunts, uncles and cousins. To many to name them all. His bonus father figure Bennett Emerson from Jerome, Idaho. He had many bonus family members, many friends from all over, and his group "The Boys" that also grew to include all of their girlfriends as well.
