Visitation
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Fulkerson Stevenson Funeral Home Chapel in Tioga, ND with a Family and Friends Service to be held at 4:00 PM.

Service
Ara’s Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at 11:00 am at the Beaver Creek Lutheran Church in Tioga, ND. Pastor Jon Wellumson will officiate.

The service will be recorded and posted as soon as it is available, you can view Ara’s service directly on this page.

Fulkerson Stevenson Funeral Home in Tioga, ND is assisting the family.

Graveside Service
Burial will be at the Beaver Creek Cemetery in Tioga, ND.

To Arda’s family- Jan and I visited her and the family in three trips through ND. Being friend’s of Maureen and her family we saw to it to visit the farm. She was such an ingratiating welcoming and kind lady. If she would have been born a Roman Catholic she would have been the head Sister!!!!! Thanks to her for the unconditional love she exhibited to all. She has been given the promised gift of “ life eternal”.

We were incredibly lucky to have her in our lives and to call her our grandmother. We were also blessed to see her live on through Maureen. She was a truly special woman- caring, forgiving, and full of life. Anyone that we brought back to the farm remembered her years later and always wanted to return. Each of us carries a small piece of her within us, and the world would be a far better place if we all responded to life the way she did.
