Regan Mark Taylor
March 11, 1968 - January 26, 2026

Place of Birth: Sidney, Montana
Residence: Fairview, Montana
Age: 57

On Monday, January 26, 2026, Regan Mark Taylor left this Earth surrounded by his beautiful family and a room full of love.

Regan was born on March 11, 1968, the seventh child of Doris (Davidsen) and Keith Taylor. He was the sixth son, having only one sister, Roxi. In a family of loud, boisterous, energetic kids, he was the sweet, gentle one. From the very beginning, you couldn’t help but love Regan.

Regan attended Fairview High School, graduating in 1986. He had many friends in high school, was active in sports, and was valedictorian of his class. While at Fairview School, he met his true love and best friend, AnnDee Burman. Although they had a brief romance in seventh grade, they remained friends through high school and into college, where they reconnected and their beautiful story began.

Regan attended Concordia College in Moorhead, MN, before transferring to Minot State University in Minot, ND, where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work.

On July 25, 1992, Regan and AnnDee were united in marriage at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church in Sidney, MT. They made their home in Fairview, MT, where Regan worked for ROI in Sidney for 13 years as a habilitation specialist. He then worked nine years on drilling rigs before moving to the job he loved the most—being a mud engineer. BSing with all of the different hands, made his day. He was employed with Mountain Mud at the time of his death.

Together, Regan and AnnDee created a beautiful family: daughters Morgan (30) and KennaDee (17), and son Alex (28). Regan had many passions—hunting the river bottoms, kayaking, pickleball, fireworks, bonfires, and music—but his greatest joy was his family. Whatever he did was made better with his wife and kids by his side. Most recently, his love grew even more when his daughter, Morgan, welcomed their first grandson, Rett. Their time together was far too short, but those five months were filled with such joy and happiness. He loved being a grandpa as much as he loved being a father and husband.

Regan and AnnDee had a bond that most people only dream of. They made each other laugh, encouraged one another, and strengthened each other. You rarely saw one without the other. Regan loved music, and going to concerts—by themselves, with their kids, or with their great group of friends—always made for the best of times.

One of Regan’s best qualities was his sarcastic, wicked sense of humor. You knew you were loved as he dropped one of his one-liners, followed by the best chuckle and giggle. Regan was a kind and generous friend. He always made people feel welcome with one of the many foods he liked to cook, a cold drink or beer, or an invite to enjoy one of his famous bonfires, where problems were solved, jokes were made, and love was always felt.

Regan loved life, loved his family, and loved his friends. He lived simply, but with great passion and love in his heart. People just liked to be around him. He made you feel special in his own quiet way. And if you made him laugh, you were definitely going to be laughing too.

We still can’t believe he is gone, but we are so grateful to have known such love, and his laugh will be the sound we cherish forever.

Regan is survived by the love of his life, AnnDee; his pride and joy, daughters Morgan (Barrett) and KennaDee; his partner in crime, Alex; and his much-loved grandson, Rett. He is also survived by his five brothers—Randy (Kathy), Rick (Sue), Robby (Anne), Ron (Shirley), and Rodger (Jill)—and his sister, Roxi (Dale) Murschel. He is survived by his in-laws, Pam Burman and Art Paulson, and his brother-in-law, Judd Burman(Laura). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews who loved him immensely and loved nothing more than hanging out at Regan and AnnDee’s. He will also be remembered by his many great friends throughout his life in Fairview, who gave him love and laughs to last a lifetime.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Doris and Keith Taylor; his father-in-law, Don Burman; and his niece, Melinda Murschel.
