Michelle "Shelly" was born on May 18, 1956 in Williston, North Dakota, to Adelard “Swede” and Angela (Kelner) Beaudoin. She was the youngest of five children and grew up alongside her siblings, Norma, Roger, Sheila, and Candy, sharing a close bond that remained important throughout her life.

While living in North Dakota, Shelly met Dennis Burroughs of Oklahoma while he was custom combining in the area. Their chance meeting grew into a connection and they were united in marriage in 1975. From this union, they were blessed with one son, Quincy Beau. Together they made their home in Garber, Oklahoma.

Shelly and Dennis later divorced, and Shelly eventually returned home to North Dakota. She later married Terry Fuehrer, and together they lived in Bismarck. Following Terry’s passing, Shelly moved back to her hometown of Williston, where she spent the rest of her life. Shelly passed away peacefully at her home on May 10, 2026.

She leaves behind her sisters, Norma Jacobson, Sheila Balistreri (Jeri), and Candy Holte; her son, Quincy Beau Burroughs; granddaughter, Karsin Burroughs; and many nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Adelard “Swede” and Angela Beaudoin; her brother, Roger Beaudoin; nephew Kelly Thomas; and her husband, Terry Fuehrer.
