Dale Eugene Syverson passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 9th, 2025 at 6:08 p.m. in Jacksonville, Florida. He was born on November 20th, 1937.

Dale was a man of remarkable ingenuity and creativity, known for his hands-on skills and resourcefulness. Early in his career, he worked as a truck driver in the oil field in North Dakota, Michigan, and Colorado. After driving a truck for 20 years Dale had an upholstery business in South Heart, North Dakota. He also sold trucks in the Fargo, North Dakota area and later held a part-time position at a Tarp Warehouse Center in Jamestown, North Dakota before happily entering full retirement at the age of 62, a time he cherished until his passing.

While Dale sometimes had a quiet exterior, those who knew him best understood his truly big heart. He was the kind of man who was always there to lend his hand right when it was needed, every time, showing a deep and unwavering dedication to those he loved. He had a special place in his heart for his grandchildren, whom he loved to spoil rotten, and he was known for always doing the best he could with the resources he had at hand.

Dale is survived by his beloved wife, Phyllis Syverson, and their children: Steven Syverson, Darren Syverson, Paul Syverson, Mark Syverson, Jeris Hill, and Daniel Larson . He will be dearly missed by his loving grandchildren: David Michael Syverson, Matthew Syverson, Zachary Syverson, Kira Syverson, Joseph Rodgers, and Johnny Rodgers, his only living sister Dianne Earhart, his only living sister-in-law Shirley Syverson, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father Karen Syverson and Thor Syverson, his sisters Joann and Kathleen, and his brothers Kenneth, Duane, Jimmy, Gayle, Gary, and Derald.
