Troy Curtis Meiers
May 6, 1953 - July 25, 2026

Place of Birth: Stanley, North Dakota
Residence: Williston, North Dakota
Age: 73

Troy Curtis Meiers was born on May 6, 1953, in Stanley, ND, to Beverly and E.C. “Doc” Meiers. He met his Creator on July 25, 2026, in Minot ND.

Troy grew up ranching with his family along the Missouri River. Working cows with Doc Meiers at Sitting Bull was one of his favorite memories. He had a deep passion for showing cutting horses and participating in AQHA horse shows alongside his dad, Bob, and Tom Meiers. He was a graduate of Williston High School in 1971 and went on to have a fulfilling career working in the North Sea and traveling with many other pipeline jobs. He enjoyed the people he worked with and met at the Travel Host in Williston, before he retired.

In his personal life, Troy thoroughly enjoyed special date nights with Corene, off-roading with his grandsons, Dylan and Daxon, and traveling to Texas to visit his grandchildren, Lawson, Ethan and Jolee. Troy also enjoyed playing with and teasing his multiple grandchildren of the heart, Sam, Gabe, Jared, Eric, Evan, Travis and Tyler. Taking care of his pugs kept him busy, as well as watering and working in his backyard.

Troy was preceded in death by E.C. “Doc” Meiers and Bev Meiers. He is survived by Corene Johnson; his children, Scott (Sharon) Meiers and Michelle Larson (Wayne Millard); his siblings, Susan (Jim) Metzger, Bob (Priscilla) Meiers, Tom (Connie) Meiers; his grandchildren, Dylan Larson, Daxon Lund, Lawson Meiers, Ethan Meiers, Jolee Meiers, Sam Gerstner, Gabe Gerstner, Father Jared Johnson, Eric Johnson, Evan Johnson, Travis Hagen and Tyler Hagen; and multiple nephews and nieces.
