Patricia Jo Evanson
August 10, 1932 - July 10, 2019

Place of Birth: Williston, North Dakota
Residence: Williston, North Dakota
Age: 86

Patricia Jo Evanson passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at Bethel Lutheran Home at the age of 86.

Patricia was born to Tom and Edna (Hawn) Glenn on August 10, 1932 at their farmstead home in Williston, North Dakota. She was raised and educated in Williston.

On October 22, 1949, she married Maxwell Evanson Sr. at the Williston Methodist Church. To this union, 4 children were born; Max Jr, Sheila, Starla and James, all of whom she loved and supported 1000%.

First and foremost Patricia was a wife, mother and homemaker. After all her children were of school age, she began working at the El Rancho Cafe. She enjoyed her work and those she worked beside and lifelong friendships emerged.

Patricia loved spending time with, talking to and listening attentively to her children, grandchildren, family and friends. She enjoyed listening to country music and church hymns. Playing bingo, crafting, needle point, assembling complicated jigsaw puzzles, watching soap operas and attending the annual fish fry’s in Watford City with her family and taking long drives.

Patricia is survived by her son, Max Jr. (Karla) Evanson and their children, Carmella, Jeremy, Justin, Jason, Jennifer, Joshua, Jeffrey and Jordan; son, James Evanson and his daughter Asia; daughter, Starla (Kevin) Scofield; and their children, Kristal, Roger, Richard (Haley) and Kenneth; daughter, Sheila Evanson (passed away in 2015) and her children, Kari and Sari Sorenson; several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a dear friend, Darlene Slingsby.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Max Sr.; daughter, Sheila; sister, Juliette Haugen; brother, Tom Glenn and great-granddaughter, Zoe Evanson.

Patricia felt very blessed in this life to have the family and friends that surrounded her and molded her into the person she became. She truly cherished everyone and would be forever thankful for all who touched her life.

Pat was a dear friend to my family. She and my Mother, Bernice were good friends. I treasure the legacy I have of growing up around the laughter, that surrounded me when these women friends were together. Pat will be missed. I loved her sage wisdom that was gained through life experience. I love you Pat
