Randall L Becker, 66 unexpectedly passed away on Sunday June 9, 2024, at his home in New Town, ND.

Randall “Randy” L Becker was born to Carol (Wells) and Walter Becker on November 28, 1957, in Sidney Montana. He was baptized in Zap, North Dakota and attended school in Savage and Sidney, Montana.

Randy worked for the school in the summers and Larry DeShaw after high school. After that, he went to work as a seismographer before moving to the oil field on the drilling rigs. He also worked with Dave Lawrance in the bee business a couple times. He worked with Dan Bata as a pipe fitter starting in 1989 until 2020, taking a small break to be a piping inspector for Hess from 2015 to 2017 before returning to work with Dan. Randy and Dan worked together in many states including Iowa, Montana, North Dakota, Colorado, New Jersey, and Wyoming.

Randy met the love of his life, Charlene “Char” McIntyre in 1978. Randy and Char spent 38 wonderful years together before her passing in March of 2015. Char brought five children into Randy’s life: Dave, Mona, Rhonda, Fred, and Danny.

Randy loved to fish, hunt, and work in his yard. He was very good at working on vehicles and always had a dog that he spoiled. He cherished spending time with family and friends. He was a good friend to many and despite having many griefs in his life he was never a bitter man. His laughter and true kindness will be missed by all those who loved him.

Randy is survived by his brothers and sisters Bruce, Zenas, Misty, and Lynette; three nieces and nephews: Jessica, Kenton and Cole; his aunt Joan and Uncle Jim; his stepmother Juanita; and his extended family and friends.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents, Carol and Walter; his wife Char; and his brothers Russell, Lloyd and Tracy, and stepsiblings Shannon and Roseina.
